Starfield, Bethesda’s highly anticipated space-action RPG, has opened early access as of the other day. On September 6th, an unexpected development took place for the game that will be available on Xbox and Windows. It was stated that a crack group cracked Starfield and uploaded it to torrent sites.
Did Starfield really leak to torrent sites?
The early access version of Starfield was made available to players who bought the Premium version on September 1st. But according to new reports, the game’s security was compromised almost as soon as it launched. A crack group called Rune claimed to have cracked the Steam version of Starfield and uploaded the 116 GB version to torrent.
According to images shared on Reddit, the early access version of the game on Steam has been cracked. Therefore, after downloading the game, the “Starfield.exe” application must be allowed through the firewall. Then the game can be played for free.
The standard version of Starfield will launch on September 6 for those who pre-ordered on Steam or the Microsoft Store. The early access version is playable as of September 1st. It’s also worth noting that the game will be added to Game Pass on launch day.
The torrent version also includes the 116GB early access version. Although the authenticity of this claim has not yet been proven, we recommend that you do not download the cracked version of Starfield.
With more than 1000 planets, Starfield is one of Bethesda’s biggest projects. However, the company has stated that it wants to release story expansions and different mode support in the coming months. This shows that the game is only going to get bigger.
